Question 1: Is this position remote or in office?

The Independent Agent role is the most flexible role we offer! You can work remotely, in the field, networking events/groups, leveraging social media etc. We have a proven, tried and true system to follow but it is completely up to you, this is your career!

Question 2: Is this position salary/hour or commission?

We are beyond proud of our compensation package! We will never shy away from the fact that we pay industry leading commissions and resources to ensure compensation is within reach within our agents first two weeks due to the assets and flexibility to sell direct to consumers as well as through a company group! We expect you to be working towards a more than realistic six figure first year income for our dedicated reps and leaders.

Question 3: Do I need an insurance license?

Yes, you need a Life and Health Insurance license to become contracted with Combined | Chubb. We provide your licensing class on our dime, we just need you to pay for your testing, fingerprinting and state licensing fees.

Class time for MN residents is 20 hours for each license = 40 hours of education and then you may take your state exam!

Common to see our new agents complete their class and test within 2 weeks if they are currently working and no more than 10 days if you are currently not employed.

Question 4: Are leads provided for the sales reps?

Depends what you look at as "leads", we are over 100 years old and have a very large base of existing policy holders that our field team get to support on the weekly basis!

The new era of Combined Insurance is an expanded offering which now includes a new menu of payroll deducted employee benefits! Simply calling our existing clients to check in on support needs, filing unfiled claims and getting them updated on what we are capable of now has proven time and time again to lead to new group sales along with referrals to individual product sales.

These existing clients are an extremely valuable asset of this incredible company and are willing to help us grow across the entire country!

Question 5: Are we assigned a territory or can we sell anywhere?

Short answer No, you can sell to anyone in the U.S! A strategic business plan of working around existing policy holders in your community or nearby communities is a very solid opportunity but you can choose how you ideally want to go to market by choosing, where and what type of industry niches you are desiring to focus on most etc.
